We’re grateful for long-time supporters of SPLAB like Augusto Romano, a healer and acupuncturist. I told him he’s the best Italian Acupuncturist in Kent and no one denies it! In truth, he’s a remarkable person and kind healer, helping people with their issues on a deep level. And, he’ll do house calls! http://augustoromanohealer.com/

More from Augusto:

I have been practicing acupuncture for 22 years now. 6 of them were spent in a rheumatology practice, where I treated people with arthritis, lupus and fibromyalgia. I also practiced in a community health center for 10 years, treating people with all kinds of ailments. I am a graduate of the Midwest College in Chicago and nationally board certified in acupuncture (NCCAOM) since 1988.

SINCE I am an acupuncturist, I treat a lot of different pain conditions – backs, shoulders, headaches, etc. I also have strategies to deal with any kind of allergies, mood disorders – including anxiety and depression – diet and weight issues, tobacco, alcohol and drug addictions. Also I treat chronic fatigue, insomnia and other conditions which often challenge traditional medical practitioners.

Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), over the years I developed a more comfortable approach to Japanese needling, that is more superficial insertion with very thin needles. Chinese style tends to use thicker needles with deeper insertion. I also tend to use the machine called Pointer Pulse, painless insertion with electricity and laser.
