Sheri-D Wilson is a distinguished poet, playwright, performer, essayist and teacher known as the Mama of Dada. Her performance style is rich w/ erotic Jazz, infused w/ a sharp feminist sensibility, & laced w/ dangerous wit. She has performed around the world, has produced poetry CD s and videopoems of her own work and has published four collections of poetry, including Between Lovers (2002, Arsenal Pulp Press.)
President and founder of Tsunami Inc., Charles Potts is the driving force underneath The Temple Bookstore, The Temple magazine, and The Temple School of Poetry in Walla Walla. He received the Distinguished Professional Achievement Award in 1994 from the Alumni Association and the College of Arts and Sciences of Idaho State University and recent books include Slash and Burn and Across the North Pacific.
Performance poet Clarice Keegan won the 1998 (first annual) Bart Baxter Award for Performance Poetry from the Washington Poets Association, as well as the Seattle Slam's third annual Haiku De tat. Board member of Red Sky Poetry Theatre and former board member of the Seattle Poetry Slam, her chap books include Seat of Desire and Why I Was Adopted.
Born and raised in Cuba, Felicia Gonzalez has had poems published in various anthologies, including Word Thursdays and in the King County Poetry on Buses Public Art Program in '99 and 2000.An occasional journalist in the area of arts and culture, Felicia has written for the national publication "Art Papers", a monthly art column for "Metropolitan Living", and recently contributed a piece on Latino artists working in the Pacific Northwest for "Colors Northwest Magazine".
Born and razed (thats not a typo) in Rapid City, South Dakota,Luke Warm Water is a half-breed Lakota (Sioux) Indian. He has been a featured poet at venues across the United States and England, with a wide range of venues, from a Unitarian Church social in Oklahoma City to a blurry gig at the Cafe Pollux in Amsterdam. His poetry is the dark humor and poignancy woven into the contemporary storytelling of an urban American Indian. Luke has lived in Portland, Oregon for the last 2 years and still hasn't bought a rainjacket. Jeremy Richards has been practicing improvisation for seven years, including four years at Gonzaga University Theatre Sports. Jeremy graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in Broadcasting, philosophy minor, and theatre arts minor. Host of Weekend Edition Saturday for KPLU (NPR), he represented Seattle at the National Poetry Slam Championships in Minneapolis in 2002. His first chapbook is Ready, Fire, Aim. ![]() |
