Haiku Workshop/Party - May 5th (6:00 - 8:00 pm):

A special FREE workshop for teens interested in entering the May 9th Haiku SLAM! Learn the contemporary haiku, work on technique, delivery, humor, and more! We will draw from both traditional and modern Haiku, from Basho to Jack Kerouac. Write, read, eat, breathe HAIKU!
Led by poet and SPLAB! Executive Director Danika Dinsmore, MFA
Special guest Clarice Keegan - Finalist in the Seattle Haiku Slam!
Adults welcome! No experience necessary! No class size limit!
