Surrealist Writing Games For the surrealist, writing was a communal as well as a social activity. Exquisite corpses, chain poems, and other collaborative games result in the creation of the unforeseen and discovering which could never be realized by any one person alone. Such games, operating out of chance and coincidence provide a site for revelation and liberate language from the chains of logic. They're fun at parties, too. In addition to classic surrealist games, we'll invent definitions for words, and write poems with words we've never heard before. No limit on enrollment, bring notebooks and
imaginations. Free to teens, $15 for the general public, ($10 for seniors).
